The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual (model number: E5533) was introduced by Sony at the same time as the Sony Xperia M5. Both phones were described as “best in class super mid-range smartphones”. The company claimed that the C5 Ultra Dual offered “advances in camera, design, battery and performance”. The camera was a big feature of the phone with 13-megapixel cameras on the front and the back of the device. The front-facing unit was described as a PROselfie camera. This was the first time dual 13-megapixel cameras had been included in a smartphone. There was also a bright “Selfie Flash” on the front of the phone. Additionally, the phone had a large, six-inch Full HD display. The Xperia C5 Ultra had an aluminium frame and came in three colour variations: black, white and “glossy soft mint”. The museum collection has a white version of the phone.
