The Ericsson T20e was a successor to the
T20s. It was updated with the addition of an improved messaging capability known as Enhanced Messaging services (EMS) which made it possible to send basic images. The phone was pre-installed with 30 permanently stored pictures that users could share. It also provided rudimentary Internet access via a WAP browser.
A notable fact about the T20e was that it was promoted as part of an Ericsson partnership with the Tomb Raider film.
