When the Sagem my401x was announced it was considered a very slim handset. It was a relatively affordable device but included features such as a 65k colour display, camera, Bluetooth and mobile data with GPRS support. The phone also had an infrared point allowing to to be connected to a laptop or PDA. The keys on the device were made a loud clicking sound and were illuminated by a blue backlight. Other featured included an alarm clock and timer, a calculator, a to-do list, a currency converter and two games.
