Features

The Trium Eclipse was one of the first GPRS mobile phones with a 256-colour display. At launch, it was described as "the executive phone that brings colour to your life". The 256-colour screen was the primary feature of the device and Mitsubishi had secured exclusive rights to the Rayman games which the company felt would "demonstrate the difference colour screens make to mobile games and why games will be one of the main features for phones in 2002." It was designed for business users and the company stated: "With its colour display and GPRS capabilities, the Eclipse really is one of a kind". To support its business-centric credentials the phone had integrated fax and data capabilities as well as a voice recorder.  The Trium Eclipse supported three polyphonic ringtones and additional ringtones could be downloaded.
