Features

The T60 was offered by Ericsson in two variants, the T60d for TDMA networks, and T60c (this device) for CDMA networks. The T60c was Ericsson’s first tri-mode CDMA phone and supported high-speed data at speeds of up to 153kbps via CDMA 1xRTT technology. It had a retractable antenna. Ericsson described the phone as having a “unique curved and ergonomic design” with a “large 7-line screen for better readability”. It supported snap-on front and back cover accessories which were offered in five colours. The T60 was “designed for people with active lifestyles looking for a full-featured phone” that was easy to use. It was notable for having a five-way joystick button that Ericsson believed made navigation “easy, quick and intuitive”. The phone was manufactured in Malaysia. A feature of the T60 was the ability to change the casing of the phone. Several variants were made including a Spider-Man cover, a Carolina Hurricanes NHL team cover, and lots of different colour variants.
