The white variant of this phone is used in the James Bond (007) movie Casino Royale by Vesper Lynd. Bond looks at the phone after she is killed and sees a message that enables him to identify the location of villain Mr White in Lake Como as the film concludes. The "butterfly keyboard" which delivered a qwerty experience on a constrained keypad using rocker keys was conceived by Björn Ahlberg who is credited with the patent for this design.
