Features

When the 5130 XpressMusic was announced it was one of the cheapest Nokia music phones to date at just €90. The company used the tagline “music made affordable” for its marketing. It was widely believed that Nokia priced the phone this aggressively to provide a foundation in high-growth markets such as India for its Ovi content services, especially the Nokia Music Store. The phone had dedicated music keys on its side and was offered in two colours, red and blue (the variant in the Mobile Phone Museum collection). The phone shipped with a 1GB microSD memory card which could store around 750 music tracks. It offered up to 20 hours of music playback, a standby time of up to 12 days, and a talk-time of up to six hours. It featured a two-megapixel camera, an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, a 1GB microSD card and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
