The Toshiba Libretto was a mini-PC about the size of a VHS video cassette case. The name came from the Italian for ‘small book’. It could be connected to mobile phones using a PCMCIA data card (for example the Nokia 2110i and Nokia DTP2 data card) and was often used in demos to showcase the capabilities of mobile data services on early GSM networks.
