Features

The G7050 was unveiled at the CES show held in Las Vegas. It was a novel design that hid part of the display behind the keypad which slid down to provide users with access to the entire 65k colour screen. The phone also included a rear facing VGA camera with a 4x digital zoom. This had a burst mode that could capture multiple shots and it was also possible to add “photo effects”. It was possible to customise the display with a JPEG, Bitmap or GIF picture and there was also support for polyphonic ringtones. The phone also supported T9 predictive text and WAP over GPRS. Furthermore, it offered infrared connectivity and could be synchronised with Microsoft Outlook.
