The Benefon ESC! is considered to be one of the first mobile phones with integrated GPS (Global Positioning System) capability and built-in maps. In addition to a being a dual band 900/1800MHz GSM mobile phone it also had personal organiser capability. It was designed to be a rugged device and had some waterproofing. The Benefon ESC! was also available as the Garmin NavTalk.
