The LG Cookie Fresh (model number: GS290) was very similar to the LG Cookie however the camera was downgraded from a three-megapixel to two-megapixel resolution. LG also added a 3.5mm jack. Other features were similar to the LG Cookie including the three-inch resistive touchscreen, Bluetooth support, FM radio and microSD card slot. One of the main selling points of the LG Cookie Fresh was its customizable user interface, which allowed users to change the look of the phone with themes and wallpapers. It also had was was described as a cartoonish, playful design that was intended to appeal to younger users.
