Features

The 7510 Supernova was part of a range of four phones offered by Nokia to “let consumers express their personal style”. It was described as having an “of-the-moment design, evoking the allure of the latest statement handbags or must-have sunglasses.” The company said the Supernova range was “aimed at style conscious men and women who want to stay connected”. This flip phone had a spring-loaded “push-to-open” side key which was powerful enough to fling the phone out of a user’s hand if not concentrating as the metal hinge opened. To aid personalisation, the phone came with four different Xpress-On front and back covers in blue, red, green and brown with a “soft-touch” paint finish. It also had what Nokia described as “magical light effects with a hidden-until-lit display”. Features on the phone including two-megapixel camera, 2.2 inch QVGA display, an FM Radio, MP3 player and access to the Nokia Music Store and Nokia Music PC Client.  At launch the Nokia 7510 Supernova cost €180.
