The 6510 was unveiled at an event called “Colours of Life” and was described as “combining business and personal functionalities with style”. A key feature of the Nokia 6510 was the wallet application which enabled users to make on-line transactions via the phone's WAP browser. Nokia claimed the 6510 allowed “highly mobile professionals to remain connected to the world of business while on the move, or in a relaxed holiday environment”.
